Advisory editors primarily assist the Editor by being vocal advocates for the journal, and will actively encourage, seek out and recruit new material from peers/colleague. They may act as contact for prospective authors/projects. They may also be called upon to comment/advise on articles which fall within their area of specialist knowledge.
