Evaluation in 1997 of a c. 4 hectare site adjacent to Lackford quarry and south of the River Lark revealed an early Saxon SFB and a series of three ditches. There is also an extensive Early Saxon cremation cemetery at Mill Heath. The VASLE dataset is derived from the PAS only.
