Two figurines of lizards have been found in Britain at Long Melford, Suffolk (848) and Goostrey, Cheshire (1195). Both are fairly simple depictions of the creature, although figure 1195 is badly weathered so any detail that may have been present is now largely missing. Lizards are one of the many creatures associated with the deity Sabazius.
