During trenching for the BTC pipeline in 2004, a jar burial was observed in the side of the trench, but further records could not be made. In the course of excavations on the SCP pipeline in 2005, a total of six inhumations were recorded. All were orientated with their heads to the north-west and were accompanied by pottery vessels. These burials are interpreted as being earlier in date than the settlement evidence found on site.
