Table 15
Hajialili II (300.98) excavation plan
The site consists of a single phase, which had been damaged by agricultural activity, with most of the upper portions of features having been destroyed. Pottery was found in the ploughsoil throughout the excavated area; the principal features are listed in Table 15.
The majority of pottery vessels from the site are unglazed and represented by fragments of bardags, milk jug-shaped pots, bowls, dopu-type pots and storage jars. Storage jar sherds predominate. The material ranges from the 3rd to 14th centuries AD in date, but is mostly from the 3rd to 9th centuries.
