Khojakhan (361). Post Medieval features
Although the major features of this site are prehistoric, there is a strong post-medieval element. The two main features comprised a pair of pithouses. Each was rectangular in shape and delineated by post-holes, with a hearth in the northern gable end. The walls were formed by earth walls built around the upright posts. To the outside of each building were a number of hearths and storage pits. The radiocarbon date from a portion of timber in one of the pithouse post-holes ranges in date from 1600 to 1900 AD.
